Framing Your Photos
- Before you mount your photos, glue them to the background page first, then cut them. This will help
you to cut straight lines and not have to worry about centering your photos.
- Use several papers to mount your photos. If you have the patience, more than 2 papers look really nice.
- Get different effects from your specialty scissors. Try cutting close to the edge of your photos when mounting them on background paper.
Or try cutting a little further away from the edge.
- Those specialty scissors also produce different designs depending on which direction you cut. Cutting clockwise around something looks a
little different than if you cut it counter-clockwise.
- Cut the corners of the pictures and also the mounting. This adds an interesting effect.
