Photo Album Cover
If you still have any photo albums left, you can use the following craft
to decorate the cover. This is my wedding album that my sister-in-law, Michele made for
me. Although she went about it more professionally than the craft below, the craft
directions below will produce some lovely results.
What you will need
- A photo album
- Glue gun
- Pretty fabric
- Trimmings, lace or ribbon
- Cardboard
- Some batting
What you will do
- Use the batting to cover the entire album. Glue it into place
remembering to go only to the edge. Also close your book while gluing into place.
This will prevent the album from not being able to close.
- Next lay your album on top of the fabric. Begin to cut the fabric, leaving
at least 1 inch of fabric on all sides.
- Glue the fabric to the inside of the album. Trim down the fabric if it becomes
too bulky.
- Cut the piece of cardboard to fit the inside cover and the back cover. You want
these pieces to be smaller so that you can cover up the other fabric edges.
- Cover the cardboard with fabric.
- Glue the cardboard pieces into place on the both inside covers.
- Decorate it with lace or ribbons.
